We want to provide a safe place for people of all ages and abilities, and try to make it easier for everyone to be part of our services, events and programs.
Our Wagga Wagga Baptist Church facilities have:
- Wheelchair accessible parking: There are 6 wheelchair accessible car spaces in the small car park directly in front of the church (access from Tarcutta Street). And another 2 spaces in the main carpark.
- Accessible toilet: Our accessible toilet is just off the foyer, and close to the other toilets.
- Level building access and interior: The building is on one level, and all public areas inside and outside the church are free of steps (including toilets, hall, meeting rooms, auditorium, and stage with ramp access).
- Room for all: The auditorium has dedicated seating spaces available for people using wheelchairs, scooters or walkers.
- Hearing loop: A hearing loop is available for people with low or limited hearing.
- Services livestreamed and sermons available online: For people who can't come to our services in person, our Sunday morning service (10am) is livestreamed each week. Past sermons are available on our website and via podcast.
- Accessible website: This website has been designed to help the content work with screen readers and other assistive technology. This includes ensuring that important information is not embedded in .pdfs or downloads.
If you have suggestions that would make our church more accommodating, please contact the Church Office, we would love to hear from you.
