My key purpose and ambition for my role is to shepherd the church with word and prayer for the glory of Christ. I became a Christian through Jesus’ powerful work in my life while at university. Prior to becoming a pastor I worked as a soil scientist and then a farmer for about 10 years. I believe that the Lord has called me to preach the word of God and pray, and desire that the gospel would spread powerfully in Australia.
As part-time associate pastor I help with leading, teaching and preaching. I have a special focus on equipping for ministry and leading our team at Ashmont. I love connecting with people on the fringes of church and society. I feel privileged to spend time meditating on the scriptures and sharing this with others. My education background includes tertiary qualifications in teaching, theology and counselling.
I oversee the youth and young adult ministries at WWBC. My education background includes a Diploma of Theology from Morling College. I love connecting with young people; chatting about faith, life and Jesus; and reading and teaching the Bible. My desire is to see more young people come to know, love and trust Jesus, living Spirit-empowered lives for him.
